Last weekend, I had the honor of photographing Tracy and Freddy’s big day in Simi Valley, California. Their wedding took place at the American Jewish University, where Freddy’s family has been working for decades. Freddy has lived on this property his entire life, so getting married to the love of his life here was certainly sentimental. The grounds were a photographer’s paradise, with lush green landscape, rolling hills, a rustic white fence and cool architecture. Growing up in Moorpark myself, I never knew this place existed, so I was excited to learn about this hidden gem. The American Jewish University has been featured in several television shows and movies, including the original “Power Rangers” and “Sons of Anarchy” (one of my favorite shows).
Tracy and Freddy were such a joy to work with, that I forgot I was even working! The way these two look at each other gives you all the feels. They’re definitely my kind of people – all about family, enjoying the moment, and simply having a good time. Thank you guys for letting me a part of your special day – cheers to the rest of your lives together! Congratulations!
